Claire Murphy is an executive leadership advisor with extensive experience partnering with senior leadership teams in complex, global organisations.

She brings over 20 years of experience across senior HR leadership, organisational development, and business operations, including more than a decade operating in senior management roles outside of HR. Claire has worked extensively with executive leadership teams on enterprise transformation, organisational design, workforce strategy, leadership effectiveness, and business performance.

Most recently, Claire served as a trusted advisor to global engineering and customer support organisations, partnering closely with executive leaders to redesign operating models, guide workforce modernisation, support succession and critical role decision making, and align talent and leadership strategies with enterprise objectives. Her work has included organisational restructuring, location strategy, leadership and succession planning, performance management, and reward alignment across complex, multi-region environments.

Previously, as HR Business Partner to the SVP of a 9,000+ employee global organisation, Claire was recognised for building strong executive partnerships, constructively challenging leadership thinking, and delivering pragmatic, high-impact solutions aligned to business priorities. She has led large-scale change initiatives, supported cultural and performance transformation, and advised senior leaders on leadership effectiveness under sustained operational pressure.

Earlier in her career, Claire led an EMEA HR Operations team, overseeing service delivery across multiple countries and serving as a subject-matter expert on HR systems, data integrity, and operational excellence.

Claire holds an MBA from University College Cork, a Master’s in Human Resource Management and a Bachelor of Business Studies from the University of Limerick, along with a Diploma in Life & Business Coaching from the Coach Institute of Ireland.

Today, Claire applies this experience in an independent advisory capacity — supporting leaders and organisations at moments where judgement matters more than credentials. Her work is grounded, commercially aware, and focused on helping leaders make better decisions in the environments they actually operate in.
